What a wet early season we have had this year but we are so thankful for the greenhouses. As of today 2/19 We found our first tomato of the season. Just seeing new growth makes us feel much better. This season like last season will be a little different because of Covid. Our Basket Program has changed to make it better for each customer. This season like last season if you are interested in Fresh local produce we have you covered. The program works like this….. Each Wednesday morning we send out a Text or email (we prefer text but can do emails if you don’t text) with what’s available and the cost of each item per pound. You pick the items that you need from the list and text us back your order. You choose what you want and how many of each. These orders are due back in by midnight on that same Wednesday so we can pack your produce for delivery on Thursday. We offer free local delivery with a $22 order. We can text you the total amount of your order before delivery and we except checks, cash, debit & credit cards. You basically pay as you go and if you don’t need anything one week you just don’t order anything. Being things like our Heirloom tomatoes, asparagus etc. comes in early and are limited we fill the orders on a first reply basis.

There may be times our produce might be limited, so the orders will be filled on a first text/email basis. We will do our best to fulfill all orders.

If you are interested in getting our weekly list just send us an email with your name and a phone number to text it to or an email address. Our email address is We will text you a confirmation from our farm phone that we have received your info. Remember we will NEVER share your number with anyone as we only use it to send out weekly list.

It’s just that simple, you order from the list that is sent out on Wednesday if you need anything and we deliver it locally to you on Thursday. If your not going to be at home just leave a cooler outside with some ice along with your payment and we will take care of the rest.

Thank you for allowing us to “Grow Good Food For Good People” !

2020 Season Updates…Where do we go from here ?

Greetings to all our Country Basket customers and Farmers Market Customers ! Someone asked us the other day if we were retiring this year ? Well nothing could be further from the truth. We are actually expanding into other areas of early produce production. We see the writing on the wall with this ever changing weather and the future is going to be inside production including more varieties.
Last season ended on a sad note for us as I (Gary) lost my Mom. For over 4 years we were checking on her daily and our life’s changed over night.
Connie now has more responsibilities helping  her Mom & Aunt as things have become more challenging for her.
With all the new additions going in on the farm and with Connie needing to help her Mom more we have decided to take this season off from our Country Basket Program after 7 years of deliveries. This should give us more time to get our farm additions in place for the 2021 season.
Our plans are to install another Tunnel this summer for even more early and different varieties of produce. We are also up-dating all 3 of the existing tunnels to make them more energy efficient for the coming years. With new cooling, heating and lighting features we already look forward to the 2021 season !
Because of these updates and construction we will Not be able to offer any Tours this season. We appreciate everyone’s understanding . These changes should allow us to grow when Mother Nature has other ideas for outside growing.
We will still be at The Moore County Farmers Market on Monday’s in Pinehurst at First Health Fitness Center and On Saturdays we will be in Downtown Southern Pines in the Park, starting Mid April 2020.
Thanks to each and everyone of you for your support and understanding ! We hope to see you at the Markets.

 How We Grow

We grow all our vegetables using all Organic Methods. We are not Certified Organic but we grow from Start to Finish with All the “Good Stuff”. No Pesticides, No Herbicides, and No Synthetic Fertilizers. We want you to Enjoy “GOOD” Safe Food like we eat !

Beginning this season because of all the concerns over e coli and Lettuce we have built a new lettuce and greens tunnel. Our lettuce will be grown hydroponically and enclosed inside. We want you to have the very safest food possible.

 For the 2019 Season

Selling at Several Farmers Markets has introduced us to other Farmers. These People specialize in products that we don’t grow or have available. These fruits and berries are what we buy and use ourselves. This year when available we are working with these folks to provide them in your Country Baskets from time to time. You can expect berries and peaches, (In season)  We think you will love these additions. If we have crop failure on a particular vegetable or berry we will fill in from a Like Minded Farmer.

What We Provide

“Good” Fresh variety of Vegetables (Pesticide Free) Picked fresh, rinsed and packed in baskets and containers. We then deliver them to your home or business for 12 weeks.

Note: Baskets & Containers are property of White Oak Farm. Each week we will pick up the previous weeks baskets & containers to reuse again. Even though we grow in the organic ways and rinse veggies- “It is always recommended to wash Items before consumption.” We highly recommend you leave a Cooler outside each week for your delivery.
