What did we say last week ? It ALL COMES AT ONE TIME……. And it is a true statement. Red potatoes, white potatoes, green-beans, tomatoes, peppers, squash of every variety, cucumbers, purple hull-pink eye peas and even a few blue berries !! …….Oh my as my grandson would say !
We eat good here on the farm and so do our customers. It gives us reason to keep on keeping on. So this week we will tackle 2 maybe 3 markets depending on the rain. Irrigation from the pond is great and sustainable but nothing beats rain from above.
We will be at the Stanley Co.Farmers Market in downtown Albemarle on Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and the Montgomery Co Farmers Market on Thursday in downtown Troy from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m..
We hope you can make one of the markets, but if not you can always email us at- firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our best to get it to you.
Nothing beats farm fresh food ! Fried New red potatoes, tender stir fried green-beans, fried squash, tomatoes, cucumbers, rib -eye steak & sweet tea. Mmmm good !
